In Home Sapphire Treasure Hunt parties are enjoyed by young and old alike. These hunts are great activities for birthday parties, for group events such as scouts and other social clubs, or even add a new twist to your next cocktail party.

Starting as low as $15.00 per person for a *Party Pack, you purchase the quantity you need and we provide you with all the instruction you will need to show your guests how to hunt and what to look for. If you are in need of hunt supplies such as tweezers, spray bottles, search boards, etc., these are also available for purchase.

Party Packs guarantee that each person makes a great find. You can also purchase sapphire gravel in larger quantities for large groups to search.

Once you have purchased your packs, it's real simple.

Wash the gravel in small managable amounts in a fine screen, empty onto a clean search area, and hunt for your sapphire or other gemstones.

It is just that simple!

In addtion to your Party Packs, you need only to supply places for your guest to sit and search, a fine screen (we recommend a fine wire kitchen screen) a hose connection for washing the gravel, and hopefully some good sunlight.

It usually take approximately 45 minutes to properly search thru a Party Pack to find that precious gemstone rough.  

*Party Packs
 Sapphire Party Packs contain 2 1/2 pounds of raw sapphire gravel, the perfect size for small ones, (not recommended for children under 7) and to insure that every guest makes a find we add 10 carats of Sapphire and garnet to each pack. You may also find fossils, other minerals, even some dinosaur bone pieces and teeth during your hunt. On the rare occasion, small gold nuggets have also been found. Each pack also comes with a clear vial for your guests to take their finds home in. If you would like a larger sapphire add or a very special bag add, these are always available at additional cost. Please let us know before making your purchase.

                                Gemstones of the World packs

 The starting cost for these packs is higher than the sapphire packs. That is because all you get is pure gemstone rough. Each pack contains app. 2200 carats or 1 lb. of gemstone mine rough, no dirt or gravel, just gems. Packs can include Emerald, Aquamarine, and Citrine  from Brazil, Ametrine from Bolivia, Amethyst from Mexico, Ruby / Sapphire from India, and Topaz from Africa. All you do is wet the stones and identify your treasures. No real messy hunt here.  

                                                                  Tourmaline Party Packs   

These packs contain approx. 2 pounds of gravel / ore direct from a world famous tourmaline mine   in San Diego County, CA. This is a dirty pack and is much more like mining. If you look at our How To Page, you will see just how to search this gravel. You can find colorful piece of tourmaline as well as other gemstones.
