Here is a great miniature size specimen of Azurite. This specimen comes from the famed Tsumeb, Namibia.
Ex. Gerhard Grude Collection. This piece was collected many years ago and was hand collected by him.
This specimen has a very aesthetic 3D presence to it. It is a grouping of deep blue crystals.
The tips, as you can see in one of the photos, have some transparency to them, allowing you to see the rich blue color.
There is some contact, but no damage to this beautiful specimen.
Measures approx. 4.6 cm x 3.0 cm x 3.0 cm.
It comes carefully mounted on a peg display, but can easily be removed.
