Etched Gem Heliodor

Here is an amazing etched heliodor crystal for Ukraine that I saved from being cut.
Although it was purchased as gem facet rough, it is a full crystal.
The crystal radiates a vibrant golden yellow coloring,
displaying an amazing transparency throughout that enhances its brilliance.
The video seems to add more green to the coloring, the photos are what the color looks like to the eye.
This heliodor specimen from Ukraine exhibits a hexagonal prismatic form with wonderful etch patterns.
Most of the crystal has heavily etched surfaces, with a flat matte bottom termination.
On the back side, there appears to have had an etched void,
and within the void the surface had a very smooth slight etching.
It looks like the heavily etched outer portion of this section, broke off at some point in history.
This exposed the slightly etched surface which looks like a window into this amazing gem quality crystal.
At just over 3.6 inches long, this is one amazing gem quality crystal.
Even though this is pure gem material, I do hope this beauty remains a specimen!
