Benitoite with Neptunite

Here is is a really nice large thumbnail specimen out of an old collection.
A single large crystal of benitoite is the main focal point on the specimen.
It is surrounded by weathered crystals of neptunite, that show some red flash, along with a few micro crystals of joaquinite.
The main crystal is not completely formed, but does show good triangular form.
The matrix also has dozens of tiny crystals of benitoite, which helped give the specimen some sparkle.
Overall a nice multi mineral example of these minerals.
