Here is one Amazing large cabinet size display specimen from this famous Spanish locale.
This beauty has so much going on, it is hard to know where to begin.
This specimen consists mostly of beautiful purple fluorite along with clusters of very high luster quartz,
the sparkle from the quartz alone just makes this specimen a real eye catchers under the lights.
The wonderfully formed fluorite has a beautiful purple coloring with a hint of blue to it.
Some of the fluorite has some rainbow iridescence to it.
The fluorite gives off a red fluorescence under longwave uv that is at the core of the crystals, and not on the outer edges.
The quartz is a large size druze of sorts. Very high luster crystals that in areas also form quartz flowers.
The quartz in some areas does either reflect the blue from the fluorite or shows the color from below,
depending on the lighting it can look very blue as you will see in the videos and photos.
The specimens has many vugs and cavities filled with the fluorite and quartz which does run deep inside the specimen.
Each of the sides of the specimen has a different look.
There is also a sprinkling of chalcopyrite and some sphalerite crystals are also present throughout the piece.
Overall a very large and impressive specimen.
