Here is a beautiful specimen from this famous, but now closed locale.

This is an amazing cluster of gemmy, grossular garnet.

It has many garnets, but the most prevalent, is the large 1.4 cm honey colored garnet.

The specimen is made up of all garnet, from colorless near the base through pale brown and salmon colored up to the largest honey colored one.

These garnet also fluoresce in Longwave UV lighting a bright orange color. The deeper the color the garnet, the brighter the orange fluorescence.

The specimen is very thin, but is made up of all garnet, even the micros on the back make it look like matrix.

The specimen is attached to the base with hot glue by the previous seller. I will remove it, if the buyer would like.

Overall a really nice miniature size specimen from this now closed locale.
