Here is a nice specimen of multi colored grossular garnet from the well known and now extinct mine.
Present are clusters of very high luster garnet in amber colored and pinkish salmon colored crystals,
within this matrix that also shows signs of chromium oxide coloring which can also be seen in some of the crystals.
The high luster really makes them sparkle.
The amber pinkish and green colors make for a very interesting color contrast.
