Here is a beautiful specimen from this locale.
It is covered in orange to reddish orange spessartine garnet.
These garnet are very gemmy with high luster faces, giving the specimen lots of sparkle.
Throughout the quartz matrix are smoky quartz crystals, that are included with garnet.
Some of the garnet are only partially included within the quartz crystals, while others are deep inside.
Around the edges of the specimen as well as throughout the garnet, is hyalite opal.
The hyalite opal is much more reactive using shortwave UV, but can also be seen using longwave.
A very beautiful specimen from this locale.
