Some call them geodes and others refer to them as thundereggs, either way they are interesting and beautiful. It has been cut open and had the surface polished.

This could be a wonderful display piece, or the back could be cleaned up and I could see it in a wrap or other piece of jewelry. This beauty looks like a double, but is actually a triple.

It has a great blue color zone and the druzy quartz just sparkles.

The druzy quartz is on top of a layer of calcite, that fluoresces green under UV lighting, but it is pale because the quartz blocks some of the UV from getting through.
