Here is a very nice miniature specimen from the Panasqueira Mine in Portugal.
It is a dense cluster of gemmy fluorapatite crystals,
that formed with arsenopyrite, pyrite and muscovite.
The fluorapatite crystals have a pale violet coloring,
and all fluorese a yellow color under longwave UV lighting.
They are not the usual tabular crystals most commonly seen from this mine, but elongated crystals.
A small but very showy specimen.
