Hexagonite is a very rare manganese-bearing variety of tremolite.
Prized for it's pinkish purple coloring and rarity, it is found only in a few localities in New York state.
This is a single gemmy crystal, with what appears to be some sphalerite attached. 
The hexagonite is also highly fluorescent under Longwave UV light.
Highly prized as a gemstone, and for rare crystal collectors alike.
