Here is a wonderful parcel of small double terminated Quartz crystals. These crystals come from Baluchistan Pakistan.
These double terminated quartz crystals are a recent discovery in the last few years from this region. They come from the same deposits that have the petroleum inclusions. The clarity and shape of these crystals have given them the name of "Diamond Quartz". These small clear double terminated crystals are very clean. Some of the crystals do have microscopic petrol inclusions, but you can only see them if you put an ultra violet light on them, and cannot be seen with the naked eye. I would say this parcel is 99% water clear.
This parcel weights 470 carats total weight. There are too many crystals in this parcel to count. The crystals measure between 4 mm and 1.3 cm in size, but the average is about 6 mm.
