Here is an amazing natural Specimen of Quartz var. Citrine, from a new find.  This crystal comes from the Mansa District, Luapula Province, Zambia.

Natural Citrine Quartz crystals of good quality are uncommon worldwide. This impressive elongated, water clear cluster of crystals has a wonderful golden - amber color, graded up to a interesting grayish - smoky color at the terminations. It's termination faces are lightly frosted. The crystals are complete all around and in great shape. There is a slight bit of edge wear out of sight on the back of the crystal cluster and at it's base where it was removed from it's matrix. Also noted is some contact with other crystals present on the back and the smallest crystal near the base. A very unique and fascinating cluster of crystals.

The specimen measures approx. 7.66 cm long x 2.27 cm wide x 1.85 cm thick. It weighs 43.6 grams (218.5 carats).
