This specimen comes from a new area being worked. If this specimen is any indication, it has the potential of producing some very impressive specimens.
It actually has very good form and color, for any locality, but is especially attractive for a U.S. piece. This crystal is a very good sized, sharp, lustrous, well formed scepter with attractive brown, Smoky and purple "Amethyst" bi-color zoning. Internally, the crystal has great gemminess, and rarely does one see large individual Quartz scepters like this with such impressive clarity and color!
This beauty measures approx. 11.0 cm x 6.5 cm x 6.3 cm, and weighs 332 grams.
