Here is a very nice small cabinet specimen of Pinkish Red Rhodochrosite with Quartz, from the closed but world famous Sweet Home Mine in Alma Colorado. The specimen measures approx. 5.32 cm (2.0 inches) tall x 4.84 cm (1.9 inches) wide x 3.76 cm (1.48 inches) thick. There is a single large rhodo rhomb that measures about 1 cm, along with numerous other small crystals. The colors range from light pink to darker pinkish red.
The specimen is mounted on clear acrylic using mineral tack and comes with an identification card.
