Out of an old South African Collection, comes this amazing large cabinet three dimensional looking specimen.
It never ceases to amaze me, the number of different forms and colors of Smithsonite, from this famous mine.
Still attached on the back is a collection label, that just says Smithsonite Tsumeb.
Beautiful smithsonite crystals with high luster faces give this specimen a lot of sparkle.
Most of the smithsonite is kind of a brownish yellow color, with more silver coloring near the peaks and on the back.
The specimen is overall in amazing condition, with only a very few small contacted areas, mostly on the back side.
A must have especially for the collector of Tsumeb minerals!
