Multi-Colored Zoisite / Tanzanite Crystal Cluster
with Pyrite and Chabazite

Here is a very interesting specimen of multi-colored Zoisite / Tanzanite.
Zoisite being the mineral name; Tanzanite is the trade name given to the blue/purple varietal.
This may not be the most attractive of specimens, but very interesting in it's own right.
This is a cluster of natural crystals, showing all the natural unheated colors,
Purple, Blue, Yellow, Green, Red, Pink.
The crystals show lustrous faces, and a few are double terminated. Some are also quite gemmy.
There are two areas of note on this specimen, there is one ding just below the pyrite crystals.
The other one, appears to be a missing crystal section, but with it being gone, allows you to see the back yellow and blue gemmy crystal.
On the top of the cluster are a few, large golden crystals of pyrite.
On the backside, the crystals are coated, with a combination of micro calcite crystals,
micro graphite crystals, and small rhombs of Chabazite.
This combination of minerals prevents light from showing through the crystals,
making them look darker than they are.
Still a pretty nice and interesting crystal cluster specimen of Zoisite / Tanzanite.
