Tourmaline var. Elbaite and Schorl

Here is a very aesthetic cabinet size specimen of these varietals of tourmaline.
Atop of the matrix of quartz and feldspar is a very interesting spray of reddish pink Elbaite.
So many thin crystals starting from one point and spreading out like a flower.
The core of these crystals is a honey color, which also give the very tips if the crystals a brownish yellow coloring.
The Elbaite also sites atop of a large section of a schorl crystal.
The specimen has great contrasting colors that really make it stand out.
