Here is a very nice specimen of red beryl crystals on a rhyolite matrix.
There are 6, gemmy red beryl crystals on this specimen, the largest measuring 9 mm long.
All of the crystals are quite gemmy and all appear to be DT.
There are also many black crystals of the mineral Bixbyite, some well formed and others etched.
The very bottom red beryl crystal is only a partial crystal, missing the top side, but what is present is gemmy.
A wonderful specimen overall.
